Product overview

The STIHL MSA 70 C-B battery chainsaw is part of the STIHL AK Battery System and is ideal for pruning trees or large shrubs in your home garden or larger properties. The standard 30cm 1/4″ P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) saw chain and STIHL Rollomatic E Mini guide bar ensures consistent and precise cutting.

Enjoy its quiet and emissions-free operation, making it perfect in noise-sensitive areas and without ear protection. Its low weight and powerful, energy-efficient EC motor ensures optimum balance and the necessary power to easily complete tasks.

The control lever with potentiometer function allows you to adjust the speed of the chainsaw. The MSA 70 C-B also features a soft handle with an Ergo lever giving you good grip, extra comfort, and increased ergonomics.

Other features include STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning for safe and easy saw chain tensioning without tools; QuickStop Super chain brake, increasing your safety, stopping the saw chain immediately when you let go of the rear handle; and a transparent oil tank to help you monitor the oil level at all times.

Turning the adjusting wheel to the left releases tension on the saw chain, and turning the adjustment wheel to the right tensions the saw chain. The guide bar will be automatically secured when you tighten the sprocket cover.

  • RUBBER SOFT HANDLE WITH ERGO LEVER: FOR COMFORTABLE HANDLING. Thanks to the soft components on the control handle, your work tool sits comfortably in the hand and can be guided safely. The softgrip handle also improves your grip, especially when wet. The ergonomic lever also makes work easier, as there is no need to unlock the machine again while working, as long as one hand continuously remains on the rear handle.
