The SH 56 C-E petrol shredder vacuum turns yard work into less work. Not only does the STIHL Easy2Start™ system make starting almost effortless, but the fuel-efficient STIHL petrol-powered engine also delivers power to the fan wheel’s specially designed blade—cutting yard waste down to size. As it shreds, the clippings accumulate in a secure, easy-open zippered bag for convenient emptying. Better yet, this versatile STIHL tool offers one power tool that does the work of two. It comes standard with the necessary parts to easily convert the shredder van into a handheld blower.

- STIHL Easy2start: EFFORTLESS STARTING. STIHL Easy2start saves you energy when starting your power tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.
- MANUAL FUEL PUMP: A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.
- STIHL 2-MIX Engine: The STIHL 2-MIX engine is both powerful and economical. Separating the exhaust emissions from the unburnt gas minimises scavenging losses, and therefore increases the power output while reducing consumption. The two-stroke engine with STIHL 2-MIX technology saves up to 20% of fuel and reduces emissions by up to 70% compared to STIHL 2-stroke engines of the same performance class without 2-MIX technology.
