The professional STIHL HLA 86 battery long-reach hedge trimmer from the STIHL AP System is ideal for efficient maintenance of tall hedges, shrubs, and ground cover. The sturdy EC motor with infinitely variable adjustable speed delivers consistently high work performance. The cutter bar can be adjusted through 135° tool-free, for cutting at head height, ground level, or to the side. The double-sided cutting blades create an appealing, clean cut. The square-cut telescopic shaft with tool-free adjustment features high stability. The 260–330 cm long-reach hedge trimmer has a very long range and can be folded to 180 cm for easy transport.

This enables quick and tool-free adjustment of the shaft length (may vary in overall length for different power tools). This means that you can quickly and efficiently adapt the tool being used to the respective work situation.
- DOUBLE-SIDED CUTTING BLADE: FOR OPTIMAL HEDGE CUTTING. The double-sided cutting blade facilitates optimum hedge cutting: vertically, horizontally and in corners. Thanks to the double-sided cutting blades, you can effectively trim or prune your hedge – even those thicker branches.
- BLADE SCABBARD: FOR SAFE TRANSPORT AND PROTECTED STORAGE. Transport and store your hedge trimmer and shrub shears safely and securely with the tailor-made blade scabbard.
- TIP PROTECTOR: PREVENTS DAMAGE. The tip protector prevents damage to the blades and it also makes it easier to cut close to the ground or along walls.
