Product overview
The STIHL BGA 250 battery leaf blower is the world’s most powerful handheld blower over its entire battery life – ideal for professional horticulture and landscaping applications. With the STIHL BGA 250, the blowing power remains constant over the entire battery life and does not decrease during use. The handheld blower is suitable for quick, short applications, for example after trimming hedges or removing leaves, as well as for cleaning work in building management. The blower is very easy to manoeuvre and pleasantly quiet, so that you can clear up leaves, green cuttings and dirt quickly and efficiently even in noise-sensitive environments.
For easy handling, the BGA 250 has a short and compact design and the heavy components, such as the battery, are located below the handle. This makes it particularly easy to swivel and move the handheld blower. This very good manoeuvrability is particularly important for fatigue-free work. Thanks to the angled blower tube, there is no rotation effect on the wrist – even when switching it on – saving you effort and allowing you to work longer.
STIHL Sound Engineering ensures that the noises made by the STIHL BGA 250 are less disruptive in the environment. Unpleasant frequencies have been significantly reduced – also a great advantage for you when working with the STIHL handheld blower.
This STIHL BGA 250 battery leaf blower is also ready for networked working via STIHL connected, thanks to the Smart Connector 2 A.
All battery power tools within the STIHL AP System have been designed for regular professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. For this reason, they are certified as splashproof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others. The STIHL BGA 250 is also suitable for use in rainy conditions.

Key features
- The world’s most powerful handheld blower throughout the entire battery life
- Individual tool without battery and without charger
- For easy removal of leaves, cuttings, and dirt
- Excellent manoeuvrability and less fatigue
- CONSTANT POWER: When using other brands of battery tools, the performance can sometimes decrease during work as the battery discharges. This isn't the case with STIHL battery-powered tools. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your tool will work with consistently high power across the entire battery charge, until there is no energy left in the battery.
- LOCKING THROTTLE: KEEP THE THROTTLE POSITION CONSTANT FOR LONGER PERIODS. You can lock the throttle at any preferred position, even between levels. This relieves the strain on your index finger during longer periods of continual use.
- COMPACT DESIGN: FOR EASY MANOEUVRABILITY. The short and compact design and the central positioning of the engine, blower and battery result in a very low moment of inertia; that means it is very easy to swivel and move the tool, and so you can work more effectively and for longer
- ANGLED BLOWING PIPE: FOR STRENGTH-SAVING AND FATIGUE-FREE WORK. The angled design of the tool means that there is no rotational impact on the wrist. The blower tube and the handle are in line so that no torque is transferred to the handle. This means that, even when switching on, there is no pulse generated which must be corrected manually. So you benefit by being able to do your work with less effort and fatigue
- IPX4 CERTIFIED: SPLASHWATER PROTECTION. The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. IPX4 certifies protection against splashwater from all sides. Battery-powered tools with this certification are therefore designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.
- ENERGY MANAGEMENT: COMPATIBLE WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR 2A. You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone or tablet that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions. Smart Connector 2 A sold seperately.
