- POWER BOOST: MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE INCREASE. Thanks to intelligent electronics, STIHL power tools and batteries communicate with each other. If the device and battery are equipped with the POWER BOOST function, the battery always provides the maximum possible power for the respective application. In order to ensure optimum battery life, the device temporarily adjusts the power if it is used too intensively.
- WATER CONNECTION: FOR DUST BINDING AND COOLING. When working with your power tool, a permanent water supply is provided for flushing the cutting wheel. It is used to bind dust and cool the cut. With the water connection directly on the power tool, this rinsing is easy and permanently assured.
- SEMI-AUTOMATIC STIHL BELT TENSIONING: EXTENDS THE BELT’S SERVICE LIFE. Semi-automatic STIHL belt tensioning makes it easier for you to re-tension the drive belt. All you need is to adjust the adjustment screw with your spark plug wrench. Consistent tension extends the service life of the belt and bearing. For more detailed information on re-tensioning, please refer to the operating instructions of your power tool.
- ERGONOMIC HANDLE: FOR PRECISE GUIDANCE. With the ergonomic handle, you can keep a firm grip on your power tool and carry out cuts precisely, even when dealing with very hard stone. The curved handle offers you an optimised grip position and the highest level of comfort when working.
- CONTROL PANEL: EASY TO OPERATE AND CONTROL. The control panel with large on/off button is easy to operate and has good visibility from above. The 2 LEDs make it easy to read the status of the machine.
- STIHL MAGNETIC FILTER: LONG SERVICE LIFE. Magnets in the cooling air flow intercept ferromagnetic particles from the air so that they do not reach the motor. This protects the motor and enables a long service life with consistently high performance. The filter can be easily removed, cleaned and reinstalled after work if required.
